Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-06-14

01The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run DarkSweep: your account details, the data your browser sends when you use the app, and your subscription status. We use it to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information. The plain-English points below are a convenience, not a substitute for the full policy.

  • We collect account info (email, username, name), usage/technical data, and subscription status.
  • Payments are handled by our subscription processor — we never see or store your full card details.
  • We share data only with the service providers that help us run the Service, or when required by law.
  • Our AI analysis processes market data, not your personal information.
  • You can access, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us.

02Who we are

DarkSweep (the "Service") is operated by DarkSweep.ai LLC ("we," "us," or "Company"), based in the State of Georgia, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Terms of Use & Disclaimer.

03Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • Account information — your email address, username, and name when you create an account; a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
  • Subscription information — your plan/tier and the identifier our subscription processor assigns you. Billing and card details are collected and stored by that processor, not by us.
  • Communications — messages, feedback, and support requests you send us, and your email-preference choices.
  • Waitlist information — your email address and any details you submit if you join a waitlist or sign-up form.

Information we collect automatically:

  • Usage data — pages and features you use, watchlist entries you create, and similar activity, so the Service works and we can improve it.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device and operating-system information, timestamps, and log data generated when you access the Service.
  • Session data — a session cookie that keeps you signed in (see Cookies below).

The Service is for adults making their own trading decisions; we do not ask for or store brokerage credentials, account numbers, or government IDs.

04Cookies & similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies — primarily a session cookie that keeps you logged in and protects against cross-site request forgery. These are required for the Service to function. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the Service may not work properly without the session cookie.

05How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service and your account;
  • Authenticate you and keep you signed in;
  • Process and manage your subscription and tier access;
  • Respond to your requests and provide support;
  • Send you service-related and, where you have not opted out, product communications;
  • Monitor usage, debug, prevent abuse, and improve the Service; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

06AI analysis & your data

Parts of the Service generate written analysis of market observations using a third-party large-language-model provider. The information we send to that provider is market data — tickers, options/flow figures, scores, and similar observations — not your personal information. We do not send your name, email, account identifiers, or other personal data to the AI provider.

07How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — for example, our subscription/payment processor, our transactional-email provider, our cloud hosting provider, and our AI-analysis provider (market data only). They may use the data only to provide services to us.
  • Legal & safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DarkSweep, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
  • With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information.

08Third-party services & links

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as our subscription processor, email provider, hosting, and market-data sources) and may link to third-party sites. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties; review their policies before providing them information.

09Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your account information as described below.

10Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

11Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

  • Access or update your account information from your profile, or by contacting us;
  • Delete your account information by emailing us at the address below;
  • Opt out of non-essential product emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us (we will still send essential service messages).

We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law (including, where relevant, the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

12Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13International users

We operate the Service from the United States, and your information is processed and stored there and in the locations of our service providers. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Version and Effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
